- Health coaching services — As a certified health coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, Deborah can help you learn more about how your lifestyle and food can affect your health. Although she does not diagnose or prescribe any particular supplements or diets, she can help you make smarter food choices by learning to read labels and make healthier choices in the supermarket. She can also help you with a “pantry make-over” by going through your pantry and/or refrigerator and figuring out which foods are best avoided and how they can be replaced with healthier options. Got a favorite recipe that’s not very healthy? Deborah can help you revamp it. She can also go with you to the grocery store for a “smart shopping trip” where you learn to substitute healthier options for foods you eat regularly. She can even keep you accountable with regular emails or phone calls to discuss your successes and challenges.
